Game Launch!

We have officially launched! We're currently offering both Vampire and Changeling venues, set in Amsterdam and London respectively. We hope you'll come play with us.

An Introduction to Nokturnis and the World of Darkness

Welcome to Nokturnis, a Roleplaying Community & game for the World of Darkness, a roleplaying game by White Wolf. We currently offer Vampire: The Requiem as set in our vision of Amsterdam, the Netherlands, and Changeling:The Lost set in London, England. Additional gamelines potentially being offered in the future.

So how does it all work?

In order to be able to play with us, you'll have to have copies of both the World of Darkness corebook and the appropiate corebook for the Venue you wish to play in.These provide all the basic creation and play rules for the game. Our wiki will contain extensive information on any specific houserules we may have, as well as the process for submitting your character to us. A link will be provided from this page as soon as the Wiki has been set up. Once you have created and submitted your character according to our guidelines, a Storyteller or Admin will look over your sheet and background, and will approve it for play if it passes scrutiny. Gameplay happens through our chat as well as our forums. The chat is for scenes, which you may engage in with other players at any given time, regardless of the presence of a storyteller, who are only required for conflict resolution (such as combat), but who may also, when available, run NPC's to interact with or run storyline scenes.

The forums are used for out of character information and questions, as well as In-Character posts, such as flyers in Elysium, or meetings that players are unable to make on the chat, due to timezone difficulties. It's also where you keep your character thread, where you make requests for Storytellers such as XP requests, as well as keep track of your general character progress, background, and anything else pertinent to your character.

We hope you'll consider playing with us!
