Like more than a few Kindred who operate on the fringes of Prince Severijn's domain, Selvers is recognized as a citizen of Haarlem, rather than Amsterdam. Though Haarlem is technically a part of the Praxis of Amsterdam, this is more a formality than hard reality, and its regent, Comitus, seems to still act the Prince he was before inexplicably offering to become a regent under Amsterdam's purview. This includes keeping individuals like Selvers around, despite more than a few complaints aimed at him, and the organization he represents. Selvers, the best known member of the Bloodline up in the northern reaches of the Randstad, has a sordid reputation; with countless accusations of wrongdoing, aimed at the other covenants. Yet has managed to avoid serious consequences so far. He always wears an old gasmask on his face, stained with dried blood and dirt. While nobody knows for certain, the rumor goes that he's ashamed of what lies underneath.
